FDF’s Goudie awarded national accolade

Dominic Goudie, policy manager of exports, trade and supply chain at the Food and Drink Federation, has been named Young Association Executive of the Year at the National Association Awards on 17 November 2016.

Winners in this category are rewarded for making a significant contribution to the development and growth of their business area within their association. Goudie was nominated by colleagues and FDF members for his coordination of the organisation’s activity around the referendum on the UK’s membership of the European Union.

“I am delighted and very proud to receive this award. It is great that FDF’s post-referendum efforts have been recognised and would not have been possible without the generous support of our members,” says Goudie.

FDF director general, Ian Wright, adds, “We are very pleased and extremely proud that Dominic’s work has been recognised in this way. Dominic makes a considerable contribution to FDF and has an outstanding future. His work on the implications of Brexit has given FDF a significant lead in industry thinking and has recorded wide appreciation from members and external stakeholders alike.”
