Cobra Beer relaunches Cobra Zero

Following the launch of Cobra Beer’s new visual brand identity in April 2019, the brand has relaunched its 0% alcohol offering, Cobra Zero, complete with a new liquid.

Brewed in the Netherlands, Cobra Zero is created using barley, malt and hops with reduced carbonation and 0% ABV, resulting in a delicate and malty taste with sweet and citrus flavours. Cobra Zero has been Kosher accredited.

Ed Hughes, beer sommelier at brand owner, Molson Coors said: “The new Cobra Zero liquid is perfectly balanced; a beautiful light golden colour, honeysuckle sweetness with a hint of citrus and a hop aroma. The taste is balanced and elegant, the initial malt sweetness followed by a delicate hop bitterness.”

Lord Bilimoria, founder of Cobra Beer, said: “The Cobra range has been awarded 111 Gold and Grand Gold medals at the Monde Selection awards since 2001, and Cobra Zero has always been acknowledged as one of the finest non-alcoholic beers in the world. We are delighted to introduce the New Cobra Zero packaging in line with the newly introduced Cobra visual brand identity across the whole Cobra range.

“We have recently reverted to producing Cobra Zero in the Brewery Bavaria in the Netherlands, renowned around the world for producing the finest quality non-alcoholic beers. We are delighted to be working alongside this brewery, such that Cobra Zero results in an extra smooth and extremely drinkable taste.”
