Hames Chocolates launches first British chocolate range

Hames Chocolates has announced it is launching its first British chocolate bar range on 1st February 2020.

The experts in high quality chocolate and confectionery production, said the chocolates are  made with sustainably grown cocoa from Cocoa Horizons and milk from cows who graze in British meadows, the Great British Chocolate range is made in the company’s factory in Lincolnshire.

The new range, which consists of a milk, white, 55% dark and 71% dark chocolate bar and come in two sizes (94g and 65g), was developed with the British palate in mind.

Carol Oldbury, director at Hames Chocolates explains: “We have been making chocolates in Lincolnshire for 15 years and are passionate about what we do. We are really proud to be launching our first British chocolate bar. With a deliciously smooth taste and mouthfeel, the new range is the best of British and is proof that you don’t have to go far to find excellent chocolate.”

The Great British chocolate range tasting notes

  • 71% Dark – Intense cocoa flavours with a smooth rounded finish
  • 55% Dark – Well balanced, smooth, yet bittersweet, which lingers on the palette
  • Milk – Caramel and creamy with a high roast and balanced cocoa taste
  • White – Smooth, Rich and creamy with distinct vanilla flavour

With its own design, printing and packing facility in house, Hames Chocolates offers bespoke gifting and confectionery solutions.

Alongside the Great British Chocolate range, Hames Chocolates’ also manufactures truffles, filled chocolates, chocolate bars, chocolate Neapolitans, Easter eggs, private label chocolates, bespoke chocolates, moulded chocolates, hollow chocolate figures and chocolate boxes, which make ideal business gifts.

The Great British Chocolate 65g bars and 94g bars are both packed in outers of 15 and have an RRP of £2.00 and £2.25 respectively.
