Speciality & Fine Food Fair launches year-round platform to match buyers & producers
Speciality & Fine Food Fair, the industry’s leading showcase of artisanal food and drink, has launched a new online platform – Speciality & Fine Food Fair Connects – to unite its community year-round.
Speciality & Fine Food Fair Connects will allow the Fair’s core audience of food halls, farm shops, delis, garden centres, independent retailers and wholesalers to discover the most exciting new products and producers on the market, and quickly and easily search within product categories and company attributes to fill specific business needs.
In addition to the platform’s extensive database of producers, Speciality & Fine Food Fair Connects will also serve as a hub for the fine food and drink community and a central point to access thought leadership webinars, virtual tastings and product pitches, articles, reports and more.
Speciality & Fine Food Fair event manager Nicola Woods commented: “Speciality & Fine Food Fair Connects represents a major new resource for buyers of speciality food & drink products. The Fair has long been trusted by its audience to have a finger on the pulse of the latest industry trends and an unparalleled selection of new and exciting food and drink products and this platform will give our audience direct access to key producers.
“This new platform will sit alongside, and add value to, the live event: offering both buyers and producers access to year-round content, industry insight and valuable business connections.”
Visitors to the platform will be able to view on-demand sessions filmed live at Speciality & Fine Food Fair, which took place on 6-7 September 2021, including ‘Conscious Consumerism: how to identify and respond to your customer needs’ Catherine Conway of Unpackaged, Julie Cleijne of Sustainable Kitchen, Paul Hargreaves of Cotswold Fayre and Stefano Cuomo of Macknade, ‘More than just spray-on branding: the pros and cons of white labelling’ with speakers Holly Shackleton of Speciality Food Magazine, Mary Lynch of Beau’s Gelato, Scott Winston of Fortnum & Mason and Rachael Winter of Daylesford Organic, and much more.
