Fearne & Rosie Healthier Jams in partnership with BBC Children in Need

Fearne & Rosie, the healthier, happier, reduced sugar jam brand, has struck up an exciting three-year partnership to help raise vital funds for BBC Children in Need.
Kicking off in time for this year’s SPOTacular campaign, the Yorkshire-based business is aiming to raise £500,000 over the next three years, to support the funding of grassroots organisations and project workers across the UK, who provide vital support to children and young people across the nation.
Fearne & Rosie’s launch activity for BBC Children in Need will see its best-selling Strawberry Jam SKU transformed into an endearing Pudsey Edition, which consumers will also be able to personalise, if they so wish. The jars will retail at £3.20/300g jar (non-personalised) and £5.00/300g jar (personalised). For this launch activity, from every Pudsey Edition jar sold, an amazing £1 will go to BBC Children in Need.
The Pudsey Edition jars will initially be available via Fearne & Rosie’s DTC website: https://fearneandrosie.co.uk/collections/children-in-need. Fearne & Rosie’s founder, Rachel Kettlewell, confirmed the brand is in talks with the multiples about launching into retail, with two major retailers already lined up to sell the Pudsey Edition (non-personalised) from January 2023. It is expected that the jar will become a permanent addition to the Fearne & Rosie range, helping raise money for BBC Children in Need all year round.
The partnership ties in with the brand’s wider campaign to reinvent the jam category and help make jam great again (and a little healthier), reinstating it as a store cupboard essential in British households.
Kettlewell said at a time when more and more families need help, partnering with BBC Children in Need is an opportunity to provide additional support for vulnerable children across the UK.
“Making a positive impact is at the heart of all that we do here at Fearne & Rosie, and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve to support this amazing cause for years to come,” Kettlewell added.
Claire Hoyle, commercial director, BBC Children in Need, comments: “We believe that every child should have the chance to thrive and that together we can change young lives. We’re thrilled to be working with Fearne & Rosie and are excited to see what we can achieve together.’
Fearne & Rosie is backed by serial FMCG entrepreneur, Giles Brook, who observes: “This partnership is a dream come true for Fearne & Rosie and demonstrates our determination to be a truly purpose-led business. It’s fantastic that we’ve got national retailers firmly behind this, so that we can raise as much money as possible for BBC Children in Need.”
