Multi-lane checkweigher ‘saves money and space’

A new multi-lane checkweigher with up to six lanes can handle the same volume as several checkweighers, leading to significant savings in cost and space, according to manufacturer Ishida Europe.

The company says the new DACS-CW Series is ideal for checkweighing stick and flow-wrap packs of confectionery, coffee, tea or milk powder, and has a very small footprint. It has a single-colour touch screen Remote Control Unit (RCU) which controls all lanes. And each lane has its own Ishida load cell to ensure accuracy and consistency.

 An Anti Floor Vibration (AFV) system cancels out the effect of external vibration.
