Kraft sells pizza business to help fund Cadbury bid

Kraft is selling its North American pizza business to Nestle for $3.7 billion (£2.6bn) to help fund its offer for British confectioner Cadbury.

Kraft’s pizza business includes DiGiorno, Tombstone and Jack’s in the United States and the Delissio brand in Canada. The deal also includes rights to the California Pizza Kitchen trademark licence.
