Dawn Foods targets ‘ elevated indulgence’ trend with Delicream filings

Dawn Foods has expanded its portfolio of premium bakery ingredients with the launch of Delicream White Chocolate, a new ready-to-use filling designed to help bakers capitalise on the growing consumer demand for luxury textures and flavours.
The new product joins the existing Delicream range — which currently includes Coconut and Bueno flavours — and is positioned as a versatile solution for busy professional kitchens.
Developed to be worked straight from the pail, the filling offers a smooth texture and intensely creamy profile. According to Dawn Foods, the formulation is highly adaptable:
- Cold application: ideal for injecting into doughnuts and pastries.
- Heated application: can be warmed to create a thinner consistency suitable for dipping or coating finer bakery items.
A key technical advantage of the new filling is its water-free formulation. This absence of water ensures a longer shelf life for finished products compared to standard water-based fillings, reducing potential waste for bakery operators.
The launch comes as white chocolate continues to dominate as a popular flavour profile, favoured for its ability to pair with a wide range of ingredients.
Dawn Foods highlights the aesthetic potential of the ingredient, noting that white chocolate provides a stunning visual contrast when paired with colourful ingredients such as red fruits, pistachio, or dark chocolate. This visual appeal is critical in an era where “Instagrammable” food drives sales.

Aligning with the industry shift toward transparency and better-for-you ingredients, the Delicream White Chocolate filling is made using only natural flavours and non-hydrogenated fats.
The product is available now for bakers and pastry chefs across the UK and Ireland.
