Launch of new compact multi-purpose label printer

A new compact label printer, the CG4, designed for food sector barcode label applications, has been launched in the UK by Sato.
The firm says the latest machine in its CG series offers top-end performance at affordable prices. Designed for low to mid-range volumes, it can be used to print labels up to four inches wide for a range of food industry uses, from packaging to distribution.
Similar to its smaller relative, the CG2, the CG4 can be used for shelf-edge, product and mark-down labelling, shipping and compliance labelling, product identification labels and tags, and item tracking, says Sato
It can be run without a PC using a standalone keypad option, and also features anti-microbial casing.
