From March 15 to 17, 2026, ProWein will transform Halls 5 and 7 into a high-octane “world of spirits” under its expanded ProSpirits brand.

With growth as the primary objective, the 2026 edition promises visitors a highly concentrated look at the global market, featuring roughly 500 exhibitors from 50 countries.

For the modern spirits merchant, bar professional, or mixologist, ProSpirits is a standalone destination for trend discovery and business networking.

What ProSpirits 2026 brings

1. A condensed global tour
Visitors can explore a vast spectrum of liquids, ranging from tropically aged whisk(e)ys and progressive gin styles to traditional Chinese Baijiu. The two-hall setup allows for a more organised and immersive experience, putting international variety within easy reach.

2. Expert-guided “Trend Tours”
To help visitors navigate the massive selection, spirits expert Jürgen Deibel will lead curated Trend Tours twice daily. These tours are designed to put market developments into context, helping trade professionals professionalize their buying decisions and build sustainable relationships with craft producers.

3. The ProWein Zero tasting bar
Reflecting the “No & Low” movement, 2026 introduces a dedicated stage for non-alcoholic and low-alcohol spirits. The ProWein Zero Tasting Bar will showcase the latest sensorially sophisticated innovations that are currently repositioning this category for the modern consumer.

4. “The Spirits Business” education hub
Located in Hall 7, this dedicated area will host a high-level educational program curated by The Spirits Business. Highlights for visitors include:

  • Panel discussions: industry leaders, including Ian Somerhalder (Brother’s Bond) and experts from brands like Thomas Henry and San Cosme Mezcal, will discuss Gen-Z habits, geopolitical challenges, and distribution.
  • Masterclasses: professional cocktail sessions and spirits tastings led by world-class bartenders.
  • Market intelligence: early access to findings from the ProSpirits Business Report 2026, the industry’s central “mood and trend barometer.”
A pivotal hub for bar professionals

ProSpirits 2026 is specifically designed as an inspiration engine for the on-trade. Whether you are looking for fresh ideas for a bar menu, seeking direct exchange with boutique distillers, or wanting to understand the technology driving production, the 2026 event offers a “vibrant meeting point” for the entire global industry.

“We are creating a space for inspiration, networking, and concrete business opportunities. ProSpiritsflags up trends and puts them into context for the professional audience,” said a ProWein representative.
