The Gym Kitchen, a leading challenger in the high-protein meal sector, has announced a dual update to its product line-up, featuring a recipe refresh for its popular snacking range and an expanded retail presence for its top-selling yogurt.

The brand has officially upgraded its Chicken Bites range with both a recipe and packaging refresh. The new-look BBQ Chicken and Chicken Tikka Bites are now available in a more convenient grab and go bag format designed for easy snacking.

Key details of the updated snacks include:

Protein content: each 45g pack contains 9g of protein.

Retailer: available nationwide at Tesco.

Price: retailing at £1.30 per pack.

In response to high consumer demand, The Gym Kitchen is also expanding its yogurt offerings within Asda. The brand’s best-selling Salted Caramel flavour joins the existing Banoffee Pie variant on Asda shelves this month.

Highlights of the yogurt range include:

Protein content: a substantial 20g of protein per 200g pot.

Health focus: designed for customers seeking healthy ways to fuel across various meal occasions, including desserts.

Price: available at Asda for £1.00 per pot.

“Taste remains a key driver in functional food and our improved Chicken Bites recipe is an example of our relentless approach to ensuring the brand outperforms in this area,” said Segun Akinwoleola, founder of The Gym Kitchen.

This latest move is part of the award-winning brand’s “ambitious growth strategy” to increase its footprint across major UK retailers through continuous product innovation.
