Independent Korean food brand Miss Kim is expanding its UK footprint with a debut in select London Whole Foods Market stores, introducing shoppers to its range of authentic Korean snacks and pantry staples.

Founded in January 2026 by former art curator Heejin No, the brand is on a mission to showcase the breadth of Korean food culture beyond the country’s most well-known dishes, pairing culinary heritage with convenience for everyday British eating.

The launch at Whole Foods Market introduces a curated line-up designed to bridge traditional Korean flavours and modern snack cupboards:

• Sea Salt Nurungji (£3.99): made from thin, golden toasted rice for a crisp, nutty crunch and seasoned with mineral-rich sea salt harvested from South Korea’s Sinan Coast.
• Lotus Root Bugak (£3.99): a light, high-fibre vegetable crisp that works as a standalone snack, a banchan (side dish), or a crunchy topping for everyday meals.
• Signature Tinned Kimchi (£5.90): offered in two distinct styles — a fresh, naturally fermented Vegan Kimchi with a gochugaru kick, and a slow-cooked Stir-Fried Kimchi featuring a savoury, caramelised flavour profile. Designed to be eaten straight from the tin or added to rice, noodles, and toasties.

All products in the launch line-up are vegan and gluten-free. Both the Sea Salt Nurungji and Lotus Root Bugak have received recognition from the Free From Food Awards, while the brand itself earned the Creativity & Branding award at the BBC Good Food SME Awards.
