Kettle enters gourmet tortillas category

Kettle Chips has made its first move into the tortilla category with the launch of Kettle Tortillas, a new gourmet range designed to elevate the UK’s premium snacking landscape.
Crafted for consumers seeking a superior crunch and high‑quality, natural ingredients, the range debuts with three SKUs built on a Mexican‑inspired white corn base:
- Mature Cheddar & Red Onion
- Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream
- Sea Salt & Black Pepper
Each variant integrates nutrient‑dense ingredients directly into the tortilla base — including red quinoa, pumpkin, black beans, millet and linseeds — before being finished with Kettle’s most iconic flavour profiles. The result is a higher‑status tortilla experience that blends real‑food ingredients with the brand’s signature bold seasoning.
The new 140g bags are HFSS compliant, offering a more mindful snacking option without compromising on flavour or indulgence. Positioned as ideal for dipping, sharing or premium at‑home snacking, the range marks a strategic extension of Kettle’s real food ingredients philosophy into the corn‑based snack segment.
Michael Inpong, chief marketing officer at Valeo Foods UK, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of the new Kettle Tortillas, which bring everything consumers love about our iconic hand‑cooked potato chips to the tortilla category. Whether it’s Kettle’s bold crunch or real food ingredients, these are tortillas elevated to a gourmet level — perfect for dipping, sharing, or enjoying straight from the bag during those moments that deserve a little something extra.
Kettle Tortillas are available now in Morrisons and Waitrose, priced at £2.65 RRP (with an introductory promotional price of £1.65), aligning with the brand’s core hand‑cooked chip range.
