Gosh! expands portfolio with nutrition-focused sausages

Gosh!, the pioneer in natural plant-based food, has launched its Super Plants Sausages, a range designed to deliver physical vitality through all-natural, nutrient-dense ingredients.
Developed in collaboration with professional chefs and registered nutritionist Becca Meadows, the sausages aim to meet a rising consumer demand for functional foods that support overall wellbeing without sacrificing flavour.
The range will debut in Tesco stores nationwide on April 13, 2026, with a recommended retail price of £2.99 for a pack of six.
The launch aligns with the growing health trend of increasing “plant points” — the diversity of different plant species consumed — to support gut health and energy levels. Each sausage in the range contains a minimum of 15 different plant points, offering an effortless way for shoppers to diversify their intake.
The portfolio features two distinct, veg-forward flavours:
- Parsnip, Leek & Pea with Linseed: Boasting 17 plant points, this variant provides 8.4g of protein and 7.8g of fibre per 100g.
- Mushroom, Wild Garlic & Chia Seed: Featuring 15 plant points, this recipe matches the high protein (8.4g) and fibre (7.8g) content of its counterpart.
The Super Plants Sausages are crafted from pulses, seeds, vegetables, and herbs. This health-first mindset ensures the products remain high in protein and fibre while remaining low in calories.
“Understanding what is in your food is more important now than ever before,” says registered nutritionist Becca Meadows. “The new Super Plants Sausages are naturally rich in nutrients, with an ingredients list you can understand. It’s a great way to support your overall fibre and protein intake… without compromising on flavour”.
Gosh! is positioning these sausages as a next-generation solution for shoppers who are increasingly sceptical of overly engineered plant-based proteins. By celebrating a natural approach, the brand aims to appeal to both dedicated vegans and flexitarians looking for minimally processed, energising meal options.
Caroline Hughes, marketing director at Gosh!, commented: “Consumers today are driven by more than just taste; they’re looking for food that delivers real value to their health and wellbeing. By celebrating plant diversity and championing a natural, veg-led approach, we’ve developed something that goes beyond the typical plant-based sausage”.
