innocent is widening its footprint in functional hydration with the launch of a new 500ml coconut water format.

The beverage is created to meet rising demand for simple, natural refreshment that fits busy, on‑the‑go lifestyles.

The move builds on strong momentum for the brand. innocent coconut water is currently the fastest‑growing coconut water on the market (Nielsen, Total Coverage, 13 w/e 21.02.2026), and the new single‑serve SKU sits alongside the existing 1l pack to give retailers and operators a more flexible way to meet the shift toward healthier drink choices.

Rolling out from 18 May, the 500ml bottle will be available in Tesco Express, with further distribution through Amazon and convenience channels at an RRP of £2.50.

Nicki Garland, UK&I managing director at innocent drinks, said: “More people want simple, natural hydration they can grab on the go, and our new 500ml coconut water is designed to do just that. It’s 100% pure coconut water with nothing added, giving drinkers an easy way to offer a healthier choice without compromising on taste or quality.”

The launch stays true to innocent’s stripped‑back approach to ingredients, offering:

  • 100% pure coconut water with nothing added – no added sugar, sweeteners or concentrates
  • 25% of the recommended daily potassium intake per 250ml serving
  • naturally low calorie (under 20kcal per 100ml)
  • fat‑free

The new format aims to strengthen innocent’s position in the fast‑growing natural hydration space, giving retailers a premium, health‑led option that taps into both convenience and functionality.
