Bakery ingredients manufacturer, Dawn Foods UK and Ireland has launched the search for its 2027 Student or Apprentice Baker Ambassadors.

As part of the ambassadorship, students will gain valuable hands-on work experience with Dawn Foods, the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity in recipe development using Dawn products and find out more about working in new product development. Students will also help with content for Dawn’s editorial and digital campaigns too – ideal for budding food marketers.

To qualify as an ambassador, candidates must be aged over 18 and currently studying for a bakery degree, a level four bakery qualification or working as an apprentice in the bakery industry anywhere in the UK.

Seren Cox, one of three 2026 Student Ambassadors and a recent graduate from University College Birmingham’s Bakery and Patisserie Technology degree course said: “I would recommend the Dawn Student Ambassador Programme to any student thinking of applying in 2027. It has been one of the most rewarding parts of my university experience, helping me build confidence, develop my creative skills, and connecting with new people. These experiences will stay with me long after university.”
