Mushroom marmalade range
Patchwork Pâté has launched its new collection of mushroom marmalades.
The relish is packed with mushrooms, caramelised onions and shiitake. The initial flavour is described as sweet with the mushroom umami aftertaste lingering until you have some more.
The range is said to be perfectly suited to enhance any burger, great with cheese, cold or hot meats, or nice just on its own on a slice of toast.
The collection consists of the original Mushroom Marmalade; a Jalapeño Chilli version that has a chilli kick; and Oak Smoke, which has a rich smokey flavour.
Jenny Whitham, director at Patchwork Pâté, says, “After the huge award winning success of our vegan Red Pesto Pâté and the growing demand for our ambient range of pâtés and chutneys, it became clear that we needed something more than just chutney in a jar to appeal to our vegan and vegetarian customers.
“I had the idea that a mushroom delicacy would appeal to a wide audience of mushroom lovers and so Mushroom Marmalade was born.”
