Bubbly results for soft drinks firm
Soft drinks group Nichols – whose products include Vimto, Sunkist and Ben Shaws – has revealed ‘excellent results’ for the interim period ended 30 June 2011.
The figures reveal group sales up 14.4%, with pre-tax profit up 20.4%, and both UK and international sales were up 13%.
“I am delighted to be announcing such excellent results, strongly ahead of last year’s outstanding performance,” says John Nichols, non-executive chairman. “We have again grown our UK market share and our international business continues to thrive. We expect full year profits will be significantly ahead of last year.”
