Essentra launches new packaging service

Essentra introduced its new service – The Design Hub – at Packaging Innovations, held last month in the UK.

The hub brings together structural and creative packaging design with extensive global manufacturing capability, to reduce complexity in the supply chain and deliver engaging solutions. Drawing on the capabilities of this new service, Essentra has forecast consumer packaging trends for 2016, which it is displaying through a range of innovative products including its new ‘caprini liqueur’ premium beverage packaging (pictured).

Essentra’s creative packaging and structural design has amplified sector innovation, leveraging features such as embossing, debossing, braille, micro-perforations, window patching, hot/cold foiling, specialist inks/varnishes, multi-peal options, specialist gluing solutions and coatings.

Tiffany Overstreet, global category director at Essentra, says, “With our new Design Hub we have significantly increased our focus on delivering integrated consumer packaging that enhances customer brands on-shelf, while at the same time simplifying the steps from idea to finished piece and reducing time to market.”
