Six of the best for Brakes

Foodservice supplier Brakes triumphed six times over at the recent BFFF (British Frozen Food Federation) awards.

The firm scooped two gold, one silver and three bronze awards in Best Main, Best Meat Free Dish, Best Dessert and Best Bakery Product categories.

“We are very proud to have won so many awards,” says
Brakes marketing director James Armitage. “This is a credit to the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in the innovation, development and sourcing of award-winning products for our customers.”

Adds Brian Young, director general of the BFFF: “The awards celebrate the very best products in foodservice. The competition was very stiff this year and the high quality of entries is a sign of the continuing resilience and innovation in the frozen food industry. The products submitted by Brakes were of an excellent quality and we are very pleased to recognise them.”
