Organic certification for gum

Thew Arnott has secured Soil Association certification for its guar gum and locust bean gum products, supplied on behalf of product partner, German based Roeper.

While organic is currently a small part of Thew Arnott’s product portfolio, it’s a sector that the company believes has growth potential as consumers become increasingly discerning with regards to the provenance and traceability of the products they buy.

Thew Arnott is already looking at developing other organic lines specifically for use by confectionery manufacturers, which will be launched early next year.
