Karl Schmidt appointed CEO of Diedrich Roasters

Diedrich Roasters, a manufacturer of specialty batch roasting systems based in Idaho, US, has appointed Karl J Schmidt as CEO. Mr. Schmidt succeeds Michael Paquin who is retiring after serving as Diedrich Roasters’ CEO for the past seven years.

Mr. Schmidt previously held the position of president and board member of the Probat Group of Companies in North America. He has been a leader in the coffee and cocoa industries for the past 30 years.
