‘Looking glass sleeve’ developed for vitamin drinks

Chadwicks
, a producer of shrink-sleeves, has worked with independent soft drinks company More Drinks to create a new ‘looking glass sleeve’ for the launch of its brand.
The sleeve – featured on two ranges of low-calorie vitamin drinks – has been designed to take advantage of the magnifying properties of the liquid contents of the product. The front of the finished package allows consumers to look through the bottle and view images printed on the inside of the sleeve material creating an innovative and high-impact finish for the brand. The effect is achieved by printing on both sides of the 50 micron PVC material.
Claire Adams, sales manager at Chadwicks, said, “Brands are constantly looking for new ways to help differentiate themselves from the competition. Marrying up an innovative pack design with the innovation of the More Drinks range has provided a real opportunity to develop a high value disruptive brand. This sleeve takes advantage of the capabilities of our MPS press to create a highly desirable finish.”
Chris Arrigoni, director and co-founder of More Drinks, added, “We wanted to show off the contents of our package and using a sleeve was the best option. We worked with Ti Studio on the design concept for the range and Chadwicks was able to turn it into a reality that we are delighted with. The look of the finished product gives us great confidence for our product launch in Tesco at the end of June.”
The sleeves are featured on vitamin drinks Get More for adults, and A Little More for children.
