Production line for Swedish crayfish producer

Micvac has recently installed a production line for Smålandskräftan, a producer of Swedish crayfish in Sweden.

It is a complete Micvac line, which is continuous from the start at the tray denester of the filling line until the cooked, pasteurised and then chilled products are wrapped with a carton sleeve and packed for distribution. It consists of: Mondini filling and tray sealing line, including a Micvac
valve applicator; Micvac buffer and uni-infeeder system; Micvac microwave tunnel; spiral cooler; and conveyor systems.

The line was installed with an overall responsibility by Micvac and assistance of Micvac partners Ircon and G Mondini.

Smålandskräftan chose the Micvac technology as it enables the company to considerably increase the shelf life of its fresh shellfish products while keeping the same high quality.
