UK labelling firm Industrial Labelling Systems has celebrated its tenth birthday, and says ‘it’s not just surviving, but thriving’.

“The last three or four years have proved really tough for the UK labelling industry, but we have managed to differentiate ourselves through the flexibility, ease of use and modularity of our systems,” says MD Denis Brett. “After ten years, we’re not just surviving, but thriving.”

The company supplies both direct and thermal transfer plain die-cut self-adhesive labels to a range of customers, including PepsiCo, General Mills, Kerry Foods, Bernard Matthews Foods and the Bakkavor Group.

“While many of our competitors have suffered as a result, we have taken the opportunity to prove that our Europe-built labelling machines are worth the investment from an efficiency, reliability and quality perspective, whether for a factory in Shanghai or one in Southampton,” adds Brett.
