Black ink for TIJ printers

Videojet Technologies has launched a new black ink designed to deliver excellent adhesion on a wide variety of substrates, including HDPE and PVC.

Expanding the current 8610 TIJ printer application reach, the new ink offers a number of benefits to manufacturers. With an average dry time of two seconds on non porous substrates, and a shelf life of 12 months, it has clear advantages over other solvent TIJ ink solutions on the market, the company says.

Heidi Wright, business unit manager, TIJ & TTO, at Videojet, explains, “This new ink is high performing on most packaging materials that manufacturers find challenging and works well in a number of applications that can be met with the Videojet 8610 thermal inkjet printer.”
