New Spiffing brand offers gluten-free products

Ingredients and commodities supplier, Eurostar Commodities, is launching a new gluten-free brand, Spiffing. The consumer-facing brand will include a variety of high quality products with 100% gluten-free credentials.

Spiffing benefits from the Yorkshire-based companies’ global reach and substantial infrastructure for the reliable distribution of high quality ingredients from all over the world.

Philip Bull, managing director, Eurostar Commodities said: “Spiffing is a great brand and was the perfect fit to bring consumers a range of products with gluten-free credentials. People should not have to sacrifice on quality or go without foods that they love. Our technical development team has been inspired by consumer demand for gluten-free and watching the trend grow we decided to create a versatile range that focuses on quality.”

Spiffing’s natural, high quality products are gluten free, coeliac friendly and vegan. The flours have been developed to handle like traditional flour or rice and offer significant quality in the category.

The Spiffing brand includes white flour, rice flour, maize flour and polenta, bread mixes, pizza base mixes, and various rice types.

All flours have been extensively tested for consistent performance for bakery, cakes and desserts as well as all styles of gluten free pizza bases including Neapolitan, plus speciality breads like focaccia and ciabatta and more.
