Saucy Fish Co expands frozen fishcake range
The Saucy Fish Co. is expanding its fishcake range in the frozen aisles of The Food Warehouse by Iceland.
The expansion will see the seafood brand, owned by Grimsby-based Seachill, launch two new flavours in its fishcake range; Salmon Fishcakes with a Cracking Lemon Centre and Cod Fishcakes with a Smashing Cheddar and Parsley Centre. The two new flavours will be available in a four-pack for the first time ever, alongside Smoked Haddock Fishcakes with a Delicious Vintage Cheddar Centre.
The new four-pack offering will be available at The Food Warehouse stores nationwide from September 2019, providing dinner for the whole family in one compact pack.
Amanda Webb, sales and marketing director at The Saucy Fish Co. said: “After roaring success with previous activity at The Food Warehouse by Iceland, Saucy is excited to return with not only new flavours but a new four-pack product that we expect to fly off the shelves of the frozen aisle.
“We’ve always been a convenient yet delicious option for dinner, so we are very excited to launch new four-pack products that can bring the family together at mealtimes. From freezer to fork in less than 30 minutes, the new fishcakes options available at The Food Warehouse mean midweek mealtimes are never a problem.”
Saucy Fish products continue to have strong success in both the chilled and frozen aisles. In the first year of sale in Frozen Fish, 65% of Saucy spend was incremental to the whole Frozen Fish category.
