UK food group Northern Foods has appointed former Tesco executive Sandra Turner as a non-executive director to the Board, with effect from 1 May 2010.

Turner held senior commercial and operational roles with Tesco in the UK and Ireland. And from 2003 to 2009 she was the commercial director of Tesco Ireland.
