Walkers’ Classic line-up expands

Walkers has announced the addition of two flavours — Marsala Chicken and Sticky Teriyaki — to its permanent core line.

According to the producer, these additions are intended to bring excitement to the category, increasing shopper engagement and offering more flavour variety alongside core favourites, as the Tikka Masala flavour continues to gain popularity and interest in Japanese flavours rises by 60% in the salty snacks segment. Walkers also said the new tastes are non-HFSS and may be put on display in strategic areas of the store to encourage impulsive purchases.

Sticky Teriyaki and Masala Chicken flavours will be available in six-pack multipacks, 45g grab bags, and 70g PMPs – catering to a wide range of shopper missions, from on-the-go snacking and sharing occasions to value-driven purchases.
