GoodMills Innovation names Stefan Laackmann as managing director

Stefan Laackmann has taken over the position of managing director and spokesperson for the management board at GoodMills Innovation as of 1 September 2025.

Alongside Jürgen Morawitz, he will oversee the company’s management and strategic development, with a particular focus on sales, marketing and application technology.

Stefan Laackmann is a highly experienced industry leader that GoodMills Innovation has hired. He has held key positions at renowned companies like Lekkerland and CSM during his career. He has gained extensive expertise of the whole value chain in various positions, from the food manufacturing sector to food wholesale and service.

“For me, GoodMills Innovation embodies two key strengths: a strong innovative spirit and an unwavering commitment to quality in food production. The prospect of working with a strong team in a forward-looking environment to develop sustainable solutions that offer real added value for customers and consumers is extremely exciting,” says Laackmann.

He is particularly enthusiastic about the food industry because of its dynamism and direct relevance to people’s everyday lives. “My goal at GoodMills Innovation is to expand existing partnerships in a targeted manner, provide fresh impetus for creative new solutions and further consolidate our position as a reliable, reputable partner to the food industry,” he adds.

Laackmann’s predecessor Gunnar Steffek will return to Vienna at the start of the new financial year. In his role as chairman of the advisory board, he will continue to closely monitor the development of GoodMills Innovation.
