Europe is set to be one of the major beneficiaries of FPS Food Process Solutions’ global expansion programme, as the company rolls out new and upgraded manufacturing, logistics and technology hubs across key international markets.

The move is designed to bring the company’s freezing, cooling and processing technologies closer to customers and strengthen supply chains across the region.

FPS — a global supplier of turnkey food processing systems — confirmed a multi‑region expansion spanning the Middle East & Africa, North and South America, Europe and China. While the company has not yet detailed all European site locations publicly, the programme includes capacity expansions in the Netherlands and broader European infrastructure improvements, according to industry reports.

For European food manufacturers, the expansion is expected to deliver:

  • Shorter lead times for equipment, spare parts and servicing
  • Greater local inventory availability
  • Enhanced technical support through regional hubs
  • Improved access to advanced freezing and processing technologies
  • More resilient supply chains amid rising demand for ready‑to‑eat, frozen and convenience foods.

FPS said the expansion reflects its commitment to supporting global food producers with “increased local capacity, inventory availability and technical infrastructure” across all major markets.

The company’s expansion includes:

  • A new logistics and inventory centre in Morocco for the MEA region, operational from January 2026
  • A major facility upgrade in Oregon, expanding manufacturing and parts capacity for the Americas
  • New and expanded hubs in Brazil and China, strengthening FPS’s footprint in fast‑growing markets.

FPS president Jeffrey Chang described 2026 as “a major year in implementing this new chapter of development,” highlighting the convergence of innovation, technology and full‑scale production across regions.

Europe’s food manufacturing sector — particularly frozen foods, bakery, potato processing and ready‑meal categories — continues to grow, driven by consumer demand for convenience and high‑quality chilled and frozen products. FPS’s expanded European presence will help manufacturers:

  • Scale production more efficiently
  • Reduce downtime through faster service response
  • Access next‑generation freezing and cooling technologies
  • Strengthen sustainability performance through more efficient systems.

With the company’s global expansion now underway, European processors are positioned to benefit from improved access to FPS’s technology and expertise throughout 2026 and beyond.
