McCormick restructure signals a new phase of efficiency and innovation

McCormick & Company has outlined the operating model and executive structure that will govern the business following its planned combination with Unilever Foods, confirming a four‑segment commercial architecture and a blended leadership team drawn from both organisations.
The announcement marks a decisive shift for one of the world’s largest flavour and seasoning companies, signalling how the combined business intends to organise itself for scale, efficiency and global growth.
Under the new model, McCormick will operate through four commercial divisions, each becoming a reportable segment.
Americas Consumer will oversee the retail herbs, spices, seasonings, condiments and sauces portfolio across North, Central and South America, representing approximately $8 billion in annual sales.
International Consumer will manage the retail business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia‑Pacific, contributing around $7 billion.
Global Food Service will focus on flavour solutions for restaurants and food‑away‑from‑home operators, with projected sales of $4 billion.
Completing the structure, Global Flavor will serve global food, beverage, consumer health and restaurant chains with customised flavour systems, generating roughly $2.5 billion.
The company also confirmed the leadership team that will guide the combined organisation. Brendan Foley will serve as chairman, president and chief executive officer, with Marcos Gabriel as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Each commercial division will be led by an executive vice president and president: Andrew Foust for Americas Consumer, Heiko Schipper for International Consumer, Nuria Hernandez for Global Food Service and Suzanne Roy for Global Flavor.
Enterprise functions will be overseen by a senior leadership group comprising Tabata Gomez, executive vice president and chief growth and global marketing officer; Jennifer Han, executive vice president and chief supply chain officer; Guy Peri, executive vice president and chief information and digital officer; Sarah Piper, executive vice president and chief human resources officer; Jeff Schwartz, executive vice president and chief legal officer; and Heike Steiling, executive vice president and chief R&D officer.
Together, the four‑segment structure and unified leadership team reflect McCormick’s intention to build a more agile, globally aligned organisation capable of supporting accelerated innovation, strengthened supply chain resilience and deeper customer engagement across retail, foodservice and industrial channels.
The company’s plan to pursue a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange further underscores its ambition to operate as a truly global ingredients leader, with a capital structure designed to support long‑term investment and integration.
