Rlc acquires Swiss confectionery packaging firm
Rlc packaging group has announced that it has acquired Limmatdruck/Zeiler – the biggest folding box manufacturer in Switzerland and one of Europe’s leading packaging producers in the premium confectionery segment.
Rlc says it’s using the acquisition to expand its portfolio of services and ‘bundle the innovative strength of both companies’.
Rlc will acquire a 100% holding in the two Limmatdruck/Zeiler sites in Spreitenbach near Zürich and Köniz near Bern.
The move increases the workforce of Rlc to around 1,200 across plants in Hanover, Berlin and Aachen in Germany, the two new sites in Switzerland, and Poznań in Poland.
