Limited edition Easter stuffing
Irish stuffing manufacturer Mr.Crumb is launching a special edition Chocolate and Chilli Hot Cross Bun fresh stuffing for the Easter period.
Made from a combination of hot cross buns, fresh breadcrumbs, chilli and chocolate – as well as herbs, spices and fruit – the stuffing has been developed to compliment a range of meat and poultry, especially lamb traditionally eaten over the Easter period.
Jason Coyle, managing director, comments, “Consumers are becoming more adventurous when it comes to trying new, innovative foods and the development of an exciting stuffing flavour offers a new twist on a national family favourite. The limited edition stuffing offers consumers something different to give their Easter roast a new dimension and will be a real talking point for family and friends.
“As with all our stuffing, this limited edition version will be handmade in small batches to deliver a homemade taste to the table, at a cold time of the year when we want rich, hearty, warming foods.”
The stuffing has a shelf life of 10 days and is available in 225g trays, which can be cooked in a microwave in just two minutes or in the oven in 12 minutes for a crispier topping.
