Cider with fruit and floral flavours

Sheppy’s introduced its new Cider with Blackberry & Elderflower to attendees at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair.

The fruity cider – a combination of rich blackberry flavours and subtle elderflower aromas – is created using a dessert cider apple with a blackberry juice and elderflower infusion. It has an ABV of 4% and is available with a light sparkle in a 500ml bottle for retail, and a still cider in a 20L bag in box for the on trade.

David Sheppy, Sheppy’s managing director and head cider maker, says, “Cider and elderflower have always enjoyed an incredible partnership. The added infusion of blackberry juice has resulted in something really special; it adds a deep hue and a depth of rural flavours.”
