Entries invited for FDF Awards 2016

The FDF Awards 2016 are now open for entries, the Food and Drink Federation (FDF) has announced.
A new Product Reformulation category, which recognises the steps that companies are taking to make their products healthier, has joined the line up. In addition, after the successful launch of a Regional Growth Business competition in 2015, FDF will again invite stand out companies from across the UK to compete for the title in their region.
Company categories for 2016 include:
- Product Reformulation
- Campaign of the Year
- Community Partner
- Education
- Environmental Leadership
- Exporter of the Year (Company)
- Good Employer
- Growth Business
- Health & Wellbeing
- Innovation.
Individual categories include:
- Apprentice of the Year
- Community Champion
- Food & Drink Engineer
- Food & Drink Scientist
- Rising Star.
Confirmed sponsors for 2016 include Aktrion Food and Drink, apetito, Grant Thornton and PepsiCo UK, with more to be confirmed in the run up to the event.
Entry is free and online at www.fdf.org.uk/awards (closing date 11 March 2016). The awards ceremony takes place at The Brewery, London on 22 September 2016.
