Kliklok has sold another three automatic packaging lines to R&R Ice Cream in the UK for its factory in Northallerton, Yorkshire. R&R again chose the Kliklok MSR (Medium Speed Rotary) end load cartoner to accommodate increased production capacity for its popular range of Nobbly Bobbly, Fruit Split and FAB ice lollies. Two machines with 12” pitch flight centres and one machine with a 15” flight centre were supplied to cater for the 12 different varieties of carton sizes required.

Standard features on the MSR include a sturdy, stainless steel construction, patented rotary carton feeder, large capacity carton powered hopper, plus the benefit of easy size change and pre-programmed menus for flexible production requirements. In addition, the MSR’s intelligent carton abort sensing feature avoids product damage and ensures minimum carton waste.

Kliklok’s relationship with R&R Ice Cream spans over 12 years, having installed several cartoning machines at its Crossgates and Northallerton plants packing ice lollies and ice cream bars, and also at its factory in Osnabrück, Germany.
