Givaudan unveils multi-million commercial and development centre in Indonesia

Flavour and fragrance firm Givaudan has opened a new commercial and development centre in Jakarta. Designed to deliver ‘a superior level of creative flavour, taste and fragrance solutions’, the company says the multi-million investment demonstrates its ongoing commitment to the Asia Pacific region.

The 2,600 square metre commercial and development centre will, says Givaudan, enable it to serve customers across a range of food and beverage segments, including sweet goods, savoury, snacks and beverages.

“Our new state-of-the-art centre in Jakarta is another example of our 2020 strategy to invest in high growth markets,” says Givaudan CEO, Gilles Andrier. “It will enable us to build closer partnerships with our customers, deliver stronger collaboration on flavour, taste and fragrance concept development, and a faster response to the needs of the Indonesian market.”

During the opening ceremony, Givaudan pledged financial support to the tsunami relief efforts as part of its ongoing commitment to the local community.
