Fresh look for Botanic Labs’ functional drinks

Functional drinks brand Botanic Lab has revealed a new look for its “drinks that do something”. The rebrand has introduced a tongue in cheek tone of voice with drinks named ‘Mind Lube’, ‘God’s Milk’ and ‘Cold Shower’.

Known for its cold-pressed Performance Juices, non-dairy Grown Up Milkshakes, as well as its Hotshots, 2018 saw Botanic Lab launch the UK’s first (and award-winning) Cannabidiol (CBD) soft drink: ‘Dutch Courage’.

2019 sees the unveiling of a powerful rebrand and marks the launch of Botanic Lab’s second CBD product, Mellowdrama, a 60ml CBD Hotshot. CEO and Founder Rebekah Hall wanted a new look that instantly defined the brand as one that is both at the forefront of its field and advocating real change.

The drinks range contain botanical ingredients such as Yerba Maté, Ashwagandha, Activated Charcoal, Kola Nut, Damiana and Cannabidiol – said to reduceanxiety, boost energy, increase sexual desire, improve thinking ability as well as contribute to overall good health.

Tired by the lack of ‘real’ innovation within the health and wellness space, Botanic Lab invented the progressive drinks of the future with formats never seen before, using ancient botanicals in new ways. “When it comes to our drinks, we rebel against the boring and expected in search of something more interesting. That’s exactly what we set out to do with our brand image – provoke, stimulate and challenge the norm,” said founder Rebekah Hall.

Committed to constantly improving its products and packaging, Botanic Lab’s latest product ranges have moved away from plastic to more sustainable formats like glass and aluminum cans as part of the brands commitment to lead the industry on innovation, but also responsible sourcing.

As part of nationwide brand expansion, Botanic Lab launches into new retailers, including Co-Op, which adds to the retail mix of Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Waitrose, Selfridges, EAT and selected gyms
