Key appointment for Martek
DHA omega-3 producer Martek Biosciences has appointed Dr Rob Winwood as director of scientific affairs in Europe and Asia.
Based in the UK, Winwood will drive forward research into DHA and assume responsibility for regulatory issues and applications support. A specialist in macromolecular fermentation, Winwood brings over 25 years’ experience in the food industry to Martek, gained through senior technical and business development positions in global food ingredient companies, including Archer Daniels Midland and Kelco International.
