Create seasonal bakes with Dawn Foods’ Peach Melba Frosting

Dawn Foods UK and Ireland has expanded its range of limited-edition ingredients to help bakers easily create seasonal bakes and so drive incremental sales, with a Peach Melba Frosting, perfect for summer.

The new Peach Melba Frosting captivates the complementary flavours of raspberry and creamy peach found in Peach Melba dessert in one ready-to-use product. With an authentic fruity flavour on a pale pink-orange base, the Peach Melba Frosting is easy to use, giving a fluffy swirl that holds its form and shape well.

Dawn says that bakers can use the new Peach Melba Frosting to decorate cupcakes, layer cakes or fill doughnuts as well as other bakes to give them a summer-themed make over. And as the new Frosting is freeze-thaw stable too it offers bakers the option to use it in many ways.

Dawn is advocating that bakers introduce seasonal lines to their sweet bakery offerings to help keep fixtures fresh and to appeal to today’s consumers who are keen to try new and exciting flavours. This year, peach and nostalgic dessert flavours are big news across all food and drink categories as Jacqui Passmore, marketing lead West EU & AMEAP at Dawn Foods comments: “This summer peach is everywhere. Pantone announced ‘Peach Fuzz’ as its colour of the year 2024 and since then the colour and flavour of peach has been picked up across dairy, drinks and desserts. Featuring only natural flavours and colours, Dawn’s new Peach Melba Frosting is made with RSPO certified segregated Palm Oil. It is available in a 6kg resealable pail.
