Preservative-free Fanta hits Italian shelves

A reformulated version of orange Fanta has gone on sale in Italy. The new recipe fizzy drink from Coca-Cola contains no added preservatives, and comes in the wake of research that reveals consumers consider ‘the absences of colourants and preservatives to be high important’.
“This great innovation was made possible by the combined expertise of Coca-Cola and its bottling partners,” says a spokesman for the soft drinks firm. “Thanks to its cutting-edge manufacturing processes, the Coca-Cola system has achieved a high-quality product, meeting the needs expressed by consumers.”
