SIAL Paris 2026 set to break records

Sial Paris is gearing up for its most ambitious edition yet, with organisers confirming unprecedented demand ahead of the 2026 show.
Returning to Paris Nord Villepinte from 17–21 October 2026, the world’s largest food industry trade fair is already outperforming its record‑breaking 2024 edition, with 85% of exhibition space booked nine months before opening.
According to the organisers, “more than 260,000 m² of exhibition space has been sold, representing an increase of +16% compared with the previous edition at the same stage.” Up to 8,000 exhibitors and 295,000 professionals are expected to attend, reinforcing Sial’s position as the leading global business platform for the agri‑food sector.
Several sectors — including grocery products, fine food, meat, poultry, delicatessen, cereals, pulses, fruit and vegetables — are already nearing capacity. Meanwhile, categories such as sweet goods, frozen products and beverages are seeing strong recruitment momentum. Italy, Spain, Türkiye, Greece and France currently top the exhibitor rankings, reflecting the mobilisation of Europe’s major exporting nations.
Innovation will take centre stage in 2026, with Sial Innovation celebrating its 30th anniversary and unveiling a redesigned, experience‑driven format that integrates Sial Taste to place tasting at the heart of the visitor journey. More than 650 start-ups are expected, including 150 in the dedicated Sial Start‑up area, supported by a new Startup Pitch stage offering direct access to investors and buyers.
Beyond the exhibition floor, Sial Summit and Sial Talks will gather global experts to explore the future of food systems, from AI‑driven traceability to climate‑resilient value chains and shifting consumer expectations. The show will also expand its CSR focus through Sial for Change, spotlighting responsible innovation and sustainable practices.
The 2026 edition will introduce an AI‑powered matchmaking platform, a new Meet & Match area and enhanced business lounges to streamline networking and deal‑making. As Sial director Audrey Ashworth notes, the event will showcase “an innovation that is committed, aware and focused on concrete solutions – an innovation capable of nurturing ideas, accelerating transitions and turning challenges into opportunities.”
With record demand, a strengthened innovation ecosystem and a renewed focus on sustainability, Sial Paris 2026 is set to shape the global food industry’s next chapter.
