Haldiram’s has unveiled two new seasonal sweets for summer 2026, introducing Mango Marzipan and Pistachio Modak Marzipan to its UK confectionery range.

The launch comes as UK consumers increasingly seek fruity, globally inspired flavours and premium dessert experiences. Consequently, this rising flavour trends strategy allows the brand to modernise traditional formats for contemporary British shoppers.

Leveraging the global dessert boom
The decision to focus on mango and pistachio aligns directly with massive shifts in consumer snacking habits. Specifically, pistachio continues to gain explosive traction within premium confectionery, heavily fuelled by viral sensations like Dubai-style chocolate products. Meanwhile, mango has recently featured in major launches across the high-volume cakes and biscuits category. Haldiram’s is capturing this established momentum by injecting these trendy ingredients into its authentic confectionery line-up.

Reimagining heritage formats for premium gifting

Additionally, the new gluten-free products have been developed specifically for sharing, gifting, and summer entertaining. The Mango Marzipan blends rich almond notes with bright tropical flavours. Similarly, the Pistachio Modak Marzipan reimagines the traditional modak shape through a modern confectionery approach. As a result, the brand provides an elegant, permissible luxury option that appeals to both existing consumers and curious new shoppers.

Rhea Agarwal, head of business development UK & EU at Haldiram’s, explained the market dynamics behind the new range: “We’re seeing strong momentum behind tropical and pistachio flavours across confectionery, desserts and snacking. Mango brings a fresh and vibrant flavour profile for summer, while pistachio continues to resonate with consumers looking for indulgent and premium experiences. These launches reflect how traditional sweets can evolve through contemporary flavours and formats.”
