Lakeland and Tetra Pak unveil ‘cream in a carton’ innovation
Irish dairy co-operative Lakeland Dairies has launched a range of single and double creams packed in Tetra Top 250ml carton bottles, with resealable, screw top lid.
The products have an extended shelf life of up to 60 days, offering storage benefits for both consumers and retailers, and are made primarily from FSC-certified paperboard.
“We’re really excited about this new range,” says Evan Scicluna, product manager of Lakeland Dairies. “We can’t believe that cream in cartons is so rare in the UK, as it makes complete sense. It is much easier to use and store, and the re-sealable lid helps the cream stay fresh for longer.”
Morrisons is the first retailer to stock the Lakeland Dairies Cream range in the Tetra Top carton bottle.
