FDF announces partner charity for dinner

WorKingOptions in Education has been announced as the designated charity of the Food and Drink Federation’s (FDF) Industry Dinner, taking place next week in London.
The programme helps young people in the UK fulfill their potential and consider employment opportunities in the food, drink and retail industry.
The networking event on Monday 12 June will attract more than 500 attendees from across the food and drink sector. Becky O’Brien, who is best known for her performance on Britain’s Got Talent, will perform in support of the British Forces Foundation. The event, hosted by FDF president Gavin Darby, CEO of Premier Foods, will also feature guest speaker Steve Richards, TV presenter and political columnist.
Ian Wright CBE, director general of the FDF, says, “The Food and Drink Industry Dinner brings together the leaders of our industry. This year’s dinner comes just days after the nation delivers its verdict in the general election and it will be the industry’s first chance to consider the implications and impact of that vote.”
The headline sponsors for the event are Walker Morris and NFU Mutual, with additional sponsorship from Kerry Taste & Nutrition, Food Matters Live and Birds Eye.
