Herma has introduced Linerless Plus, a new self‑adhesive linerless label designed to overcome the performance limitations that have historically constrained linerless adoption in logistics and dispatch.

The development expands the company’s linerless range and arrives as operators face heightened pressure to reduce waste under the European Packaging Waste Regulation.

Herma notes that “the multi-layer adhesive used in Linerless Plus… enables adhesive to be applied across the entire surface – in contrast to standard solutions on the market, which usually require adhesive-free zones for cutting.” This full‑surface adhesive approach delivers stronger initial and final tack, improving reliability on rough cardboard, pallet wrap and other challenging substrates. It also reduces adhesive contamination in print‑and‑apply systems, supporting cleaner cutting and lower maintenance requirements.

Herma positions Linerless Plus as a flexible option for both desktop printers and automated systems, complementing its silicone‑free InNo‑Liner technology. Together, the two solutions now cover almost all logistics labelling scenarios, from high‑speed automated lines to variable desktop printing environments.
