Exchange competition announced

Campden BRI, in conjunction with the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), has launched a competition offering food technology postgraduate students the chance to win an exchange programme.

The winner of The Thesis Video Challenge will spend 10 days at Campden BRI in the UK to gain insight into the European food industry. The winner will have the opportunity to meet industry members and experience each of the company’s divisions (science, technology, brewing and knowledge management), focusing on the most relevant areas of their topic of study.

Campden BRI is sponsoring the competition and covering the student’s travel costs up to a value of $7,500.

For the chance to win, students need to submit a video of less than three minutes related to original research they are conducting by 1 April 2016.

The Thesis Video Challenge is open to IFT student members who are either studying for a Masters or PhD. The winner will be announced at the IFTSA Closing Ceremony during IFT16 in Chicago, Illinois on 18 July 2016.
