New view for Vista
Vista Processed Foods, part of the OSI Group, has expanded its manufacturing portfolio in India by opening another frozen vegetable processing plant in the northern part of the country.
The Punjab facility will focus on producing value-added frozen vegetable products for fast food and retail outlets for both the domestic and export markets.
“With this further capacity expansion, Vista becomes one of the largest modern value-added food companies in the country, supplying a variety of processed vegetables, chicken, dairy and fresh produce items,” says general manager Brent Afman. “The new facility houses one of the country’s largest fresh vegetable processing lines, and completes another important component of our manufacturing strategy to supply our key customers in India and the Middle East.”
